This two-day adventure is designed for a maximum of 4 people. You and your guests will be based at the luxurious Retaruke Lodge, which is nestled in 4000 acres of privately-owned native bush and surrounded by a magnificent array of wildlife. During your stay you'll get the adrenalin pumping with activities such as a sporting clays shoot, an exhilarating after-dark shoot and rifle-range shooting.

Your adventure will cumulate with a venison hunt. In pairs you'll be guided through one of the worlds finest, most sought after hunting blocks. In the remote King Country wilderness you'll experience the challenge of locating and stalking a deer - and you're guaranteed the thrill of shooting your own venison, hind or spiker for the table.

As our only visitors, you and your guests will have the lodge to yourselves to unwind. Our corporate clients find this environment especially conducive to forging bonds with clients, peers and senior staff.

At the end of your day, enjoy drinks by the fire or take in the breathtaking King Country from the long terraces and lawn. In the evening, you'll enjoy a magnificent three course meal featuring locally-grown produce and ingredients from around the world - which are complemented by New Zealand's finest wines and premium Beers.

The remoteness of Retaruke provides the ideal environment to foster and enhance business relationships. If you would like to extend your adventure we can include trout fishing, archery, 4x4 touring, goat and pig hunting and wildlife photography. We can also cater to those wanting to hunt trophy red stags and other species.

EXTREME CORPORATE ADVENTURE - PROGRAMME

Day One
Midday - Arrive. Welcome and lunch.
1.30pm Rifle safety and tuition. Learn how to shoot high powered rifles (from a 222 to a 7mm 08 Caliber) at the Retaruke rifle range. You'll get expert tuition and guidance from our shooting professionals.
2.30pm Sporting claybird challenge, stalk through native bush and experience the thrill of simulated field shooting. A small wager always makes this interesting!
4.30 - 5pm Drinks. Return to the lodge for drinks by the fire or on the terraces.
Dinner. Enjoy a three course meal including Retaruke - farmed venison (if you choose) and a selection of New Zealand's finest wines.
After Dinner. Experience the Retaruke night shoot, spotlighting and shooting pests such as rabbits, possums and hares using smallbore 22 rifles.

DAY TWO
Crack of dawn. Breakfast
Venison Hunt. The moment you've waited for. You'll split into pairs and with a guide each, hunt for your venison in over 4000 acres of medium to steep terrain. Each hunter is guaranteed to shoot their own deer (if they choose). Lunch provided.
Early Afternoon. Return to lodge to re-live the thrill of the day!
Mid-Afternoon. Depart.

Includes
Accommodation, meals, drinks, guides, firearms and ammunition, Venison processing and delivery anywhere in New Zealand, Pick up and return from Taupo Airport if required.

The above package caters to a maximum of 4 people. We cater for children 15 and over.
Helicopter package also available.

Extensions. Package can be extended to include trophy stag hunting, goat and pig hunting, trout fishing, archery, 4 x 4 adventures and wildlife photography. Please feel free to call and discuss these options.

Deposit. 50% deposit is required. Refundable if cancellation is made up to 14 days prior to booking.
