Fly fishing on the Upper Retaruke River is some of the best fishing in the Central Plateau. The river runs around the property and Rainbow and Brown Trout are common, ranging in size from 2-6 pounds.

The standard fly-fishing techniques are up-steam nymphing and dry-fly. It's a great way to relax and take in the scenery.
