Retaruke Country Estate is a highly productive deer farm, farming venison and velvet. Velvet is harvested annually and sold for medicinal purposes to Asia. Retaruke venison is marketed on the European and American market, as well as locally.

The farm has excellent facilities and we enjoy showing our guests the working operation. It's also an opportunity to get up close to a real live stag or hind.
